About Us

Sweet Cherry Meadow was thought up by Sarah & Andrew (that’s us!) after they volunteered to organise the wedding invitations for Andrews sister & fiancé. After scouring the market for something suitable (and failing), they decided to get their hands dirty and make their own.

With my (that’s me, Sarah!) degree, and experience in the textile & graphic design industry, along with Andrew’s love of print, ridiculous eye for detail we came up with a knockout invitation for Kathryn & Scott! Although actually these turned out to be stupidly complex and time consuming to make! (There were lots of late nights while we made these beauties!) But during this process we found we had so many more ideas that we wanted to ‘put to paper,’ that we decided to just keep going…and so Sweet Cherry Meadow was born! We started out digitally printing our designs, but felt that this lacks a little bit of soul…so after lots of investigating, Andrew found a beautiful little press, Charlotte. It didn’t take us long to realise that, beautiful as Charlotte is, she isn’t really suitable for creating large numbers of prints…and so more investigating ensued…and some more still! And, just when we were about to give up hope of finding something appropriate, Andrew discovered, (and fell in love with!) Hendrick! Now we are living, breathing, sleeping, (and sometimes eating!) wedding stationery ideas and are continually adding to the collection. We are currently working on baby announcements, seasonal cards, engagement party and soiree invitations.
